Roady's Focus on "World Class" Customer Service By Shane Lloyd National Retail Manager It is an exciting time to be associated with Roady's Truck Stops! January 1, 2009 marks the second anniversary for Roady's, America's Largest Chain of Independent Truck Stops. With almost 400 locations and growing, 2009 looks to be very promising. In order to expand and grow our business, we cannot lose sight of our customer's needs. Roady's motto of "Helping our customers be more successful, however they define success" is important now more than ever. In order to provide "World Class" customer service, we have improved the way we market to Truck Stops. Our previous Regional Managers have been reassigned to be Regional Business Development Managers that will focus on adding new Truck Stops. Our new in-house Regional Managers will focus on our existing customer needs. I joined Roady's to create a team of Regional Managers that will be based here at our corporate headquarters in Idaho. Although we are all new to this industry, each new Regional Manager has a very diverse background and is eager to learn. The new team consists of Ashley Robertson, Rudy Espino, Ruthie Carlson, and Willie Lake. It is our goal to learn each Truck Stop's definition of "Success" and help them achieve that goal. If you want to be more profitable, we can help. If you desire more gallons, we can help with that, too. The goal is to have a consistent message and for information to be distributed in a timely manner. There are several reasons why Roady's chose to bring Regional Managers in-house:
When new programs are being introduced, we often have the vendor experts come in to train our staff on their program. By having the team of Regional Managers here, it will allow us to relay that information to our customers in a more consistent manner. Once the new program is introduced, we want to get the program deployed as quickly as possible to help our customers make money or save money. That means that we need to work closely with our vendors to make sure that all of the information they need is complete and accurate to get that program deployed. As I said before, it is truly an exciting time to be involved with Roady's. With a renewed commitment to customer satisfaction, we want to take our relationship with you, the customer, to the next level. --- |
